  • This afternoon, we depart from Jerusalem and drive to the southern tip of Israel arriving in Eilat. After checking-in at our waterfront hotel, enjoy the evening exploring Eilat with others from our group.

thursday, may 22:

  • Luxurious day in Eliat (free snorkel tour included)

friday, may 23: fly home

  • This morning, we'll visit the Eilat Underwater Observatory where an astonishing variety of tropical fish and coral are visible in their natural habitat. Head north to the natural wonder that is Makhtesh Ramon.We'll drive deep into the crater to see some of its wonders and learn how this geological marvel formed over millions of years. After, visit the desert tomb of Israel's founding Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and examine his vision of "making the desert bloom." From here, we will continue to Ben Gurion International Airport where we will say our goodbyes to new friends and Israel as we take our flights home.

Your Guides

Dr. Jonathan Moore

Dr. Jonathan Moore is a full-time physician with Master's degrees in Education and Bible and a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies and Archaeology. Founder of 'Seeing the World Through His Eyes,’ Moore and his family have traveled extensively worldwide, including Israel, Egypt, Turkey, Italy, and the Mediterranean. Moore is an adjunct professor at Freed Hardeman University Graduate School of Theology. Jonathan and his wife, Kim, have three children and two grandchildren.

Gary Massey, Jr., J.D.

Gary has traveled to and led travel groups to places associated with Bible History on many occasions. He has led multiple tours to Israel, Greece, Italy, Egypt, and Turkey. Gary is also an instructor with Bible Land Passages.

Gary Massey has been preaching the gospel since he was a teenager. Gary earned Bachelor’s degrees in Bible and History from Freed Hardeman University and then entered law school at Samford University.

Between college and law school, Gary married his college sweetheart, Michelle Hayes, from Waverly, Tennessee. Now, they have three wonderful children – Lauren, Elizabeth, and Mark. Since 1998, Gary and Michelle have made their home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Gary has been a minister at the Mountain Creek Church of Christ since 2000 and the regular pulpit minister there since 2004. Gary has been a frequent lecturer on Bible Lectureships throughout the United States, as well as many gospel meetings and other Bible programs.

In 2001, Gary founded his own law firm, focusing on injuries and employment cases. He serves on the Boards of Trustees for Freed Hardeman University and the Tennessee Children’s Home and is also an Instructor with Bible Lands Passages ministries.
