Friday, May 30: Touring Israel with Dr. Moore (no digging).

Saturday, May 31: Touring Israel with Dr. Moore (no digging).

Sunday, June 1: Day off: Tour Jerusalem and worship, including visits to Gethsemane, the City of David, the Mount of Olives, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Western Wall, and more.

Monday, June 2: Digging at Shiloh

Tuesday, June 3: Digging at Shiloh

Wednesday, June 4: Digging at Shiloh

Thursday, June 5: Day off. Optional visit to the Israel Museum (shared transportation cost for participants).

Friday, June 6: Return home

Costs:

Shiloh Digging and Accommodations: $175.00 per night, including all meals, hotel stay, and participation in the dig. This is a discounted rate based on double occupancy.

Weekend Tour Costs (Friday, May 30-Sunday, June 1):

Friday/Saturday/Sunday Tour:

Transportation: A shared van and driver will be arranged for the group. We will split the costs of the driver/van evenly. We will depart early Friday morning.

Sites to Visit on Friday: Caesarea Maritima, Mount Carmel, Jezreel Valley, Megiddo, Sea of Galilee, Tiberias, Capernaum, and potentially Beit She’an (Scythopolis).

Sites to Visit on Saturday: Bethlehem, Jericho, Valley of Elah, Gezer, and additional stops as time permits.

Costs:

The estimated ticket for site entry, transportation, and a driver on Friday and Saturday is $200-$250 per person.

Each participant is responsible for their own meals during the tour days: The cost of the Van/Driver will be split.

Sunday Tour: No group driver or transportation; only ticket costs for sites visited— estimated costs: $50-$75.00 per person (meals, ticket prices).

Total estimated Cost for Weekend Tour (ALL THREE DAYS): Approximately $250-$300 per person, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Note: There is no profit or margin built into these costs. Each participant pays their own entrance fees, food, and a shared cost for transportation. Dr. Moore will serve as your guide at no additional charge.

 
 

Meet Your Guide

Dr. Jonathan Moore

Dr. Jonathan Moore is a full-time physician with Master's degrees in Medical Education and Bible with a Ph.D. in Old Testament Biblical Studies and Archaeology. Founder of Moore Discipleship Missions: "Seeing HIS World,” Jonathan and his family have traveled and guided extensively worldwide - including Israel, Turkey, Egypt, Italy, and the Mediterranean. Moore is an instructor with Bible Lands Passages and teaches OT/NT Survey as an adjunct for the University of the Cumberlands and adjunct faculty at FHU School of Theology. Jonathan and his wife, Kim, have three children: Gabrielle, Audrey, and Jonathan.
